Recently, the Anaheim Hilton and Towers agreed to an exclusive contract with the Yellow Cab Co. of Greater Orange County. The decision does not take into account numerous issues with proper service at the hotel for peak hours and larger conventions. The last two large conventions in the Anaheim area, left many people scrambling across the street for a cab at the Anaheim Marriott, where all three Anaheim Taxi Franchise companies ( A White and Yellow Cab, California Yellow Cab, and Yellow Cab of Greater Orange County) are allowed to post.
Hopefully the Hilton in Anaheim will realize the effect on good customer relations by allowing all three taxi companies back onto the property.
As an Anaheim Taxi Franchisee, we all have a responsibility to do our job and service the public. When we are hindered in doing that, the image of the entire Anaheim Resort Area suffers.

A White and Yellow Cab recently received another 5 year extension to their taxi franchise. The original study and report for the rebid of the franchise was found to be frought with problems. The Anaheim City Council and Mayor determined that instead of monopolizing the City of Anaheim, that they should maintain the 3 popular companies. This will ensure choice and ensure customers and taxi drivers alike can choose from the best, instead of one or two companies.
A White and Yellow Cab, dba Anaheim Yellow Cab, has been steadily increasing market share in the city and is expanding services throughout and beyond Orange County...
Cab Benefits Coming Soon...
1. Child safety seats will soon be available for taxi drivers to use at the Anaheim GardenWalk. These seats are for checkout by taxi drivers on request of passengers. There is no charge to pickup a child safety seat, but additional meter charges may apply. The child safety seat or booster installation shall be the responsibility of the passenger.
2. GPS for trip completion and guidance offered through DDS taxitrack systems.
3. Meter printers to give you a printed on demand receipt are also coming. Some of our taxis are already equipped.
4. WE use ULEV CARB certified 2006 and newer Ford Windstars. These vehicles emit considerably less pollution, while maintaining the convenience of regular power.
